Community Arts producer Lata Desai, oral historian film maker Rolf Killius and Director of Mukul and Ghetto Tigers, Mukul Ahmed present a film project featuring young people who will elaborate on the relationship of their parents and grandparents’ historical migration to Britain from India and Africa.
Self expression of how the colonial legacy has affected them will open up emotions and perspectives of their lives in modern Britain and give them an understanding of their ‘identity’ and ‘heritage’.
Film screening is followed by a panel discussion with distinguished guests
